Experienced Automotive Technician

Are you an experienced automotive technician looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Look no further! Yardley Automotive in Salem, IL is currently seeking a skilled and motivated automotive technician to join our team. If you have a passion for cars and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

  • Four day workweek. Monday - Thursday 7am to 5pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment (Lab scope, Scanner, Multimeter, Smoke machine, etc.)
  • Able to perform digital vehicle inspections
  • Properly use online service manuals and read schematics
  • Perform wheel alignments
  • Air conditioning and HVAC service
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with advisors regarding repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician
  • Certification from an accredited automotive training program
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
